1.What is this?
This is a project of the financial news media Bazaar Information & Development (BID), the parent company of Dhakabiz.com. The main objective of this project is to develop skilled manpower in our country providing hands on training with financial benefits by involving them in part-time jobs.
Youths or students of at least HSC pass are selected to work in the program. They are identified as Executives. Based on performance & quality, the executives are divided into four categories such as: GOLD, SILVER, STANDARD and GENERAL.
The amount of daily allowance are determined on the basis of working pattern of the project and performances and status of Executives. For Example: the daily allowance for DhakaBazar project have been announced as follows:
GOLD- Tk 1000.00, SILVER- Tk 800.00, STANDARD- Tk 500.00, GENERAL- Tk 300.00.
2. How it works
BID, occasionally, take some short-term Incentive Programs for various development issues such as awareness program for internet use, or conduct social survey, educational campaign where panel members (selected students and youths) are invited to work against cash money as daily allowance.
Executives selected from applicants through the BID Recruitment Process (viva, training and written) would be invited to work in various projects from time to time. Selected executives are treated as part-time member of BID and every member must report to the office at least two times in every month.
The status of the Executives would be determined on the basis of performances during the hands on training progrm and achievement in any one project.
3.Capacity Building?
BID provides hands on training to the selected executives and to increase efficiency, each Executive are given a minimum target to meet. The target is set according to their status. Executive who can exceed the target are given incentives and who can not meet the minimum target are given minimum daily allowances of at least Tk 200.00 only.
4.Current project: DhakaBazar
DhakaBazar is a unique online market and an exclusive service of Dhakabiz.com. Based on a ground breaking software, DhakaBazar will present all exclusive products of different sellers, shop owners and Dokandars in one location so that any buyer can find their best products within a moment by a single click. This will help consumers and buyers to buy the best products at competitive prices and reduce hassles of movements from shopping malls to shopping malls specially when the city’s are overstrained with huge traffic jams.>
The most attractive feature of DhakaBazar is that sellers, shopper or Dokanders of exclusive products can display their products in Dhakabazar free of cost simply filling up a Member Registration Form. Being a Free Member of DhakaBazar, sellers or shop owners will be the owner of a webpage free of cost. They will be given Administrative Passwords so that they can update their company logo, description, photo, product features without any charge.
Members who wish to enjoy Special Services from DhakaBazar need to pay a few amount of MEMBERSHIP Charge per month such as: Gold Member- Tk 2000.00, Silver- Tk 1500.00 per month.
5.What Jobs in DhakaBazar?
The main job of Executives in DhakaBazar is to collect members (free members or Gold and Silver members) from different shopping malls of the Dhaka city by educating and motivating the shop owners or dokanders or fashion houses. Under the project, they will work in selected shopping malls for five days from August 09, 2010.
6.Efficiency Evaluation?
To increase the efficiency, executives have been given Performance Targets and incentives are given as per performances. The targets for each Executive in DhakaBazar as follows:
GOLD executives- 100 members including 5 gold, 5 silver members
Silver executives-   60 members including 10 silver members
Standard executives- 50 members including 1 gold or 1 silver member
General executives- 30 members
7.Incentives?
Executives who will exceed their targets and collect more Gold or Silver members will be given 10% incentives against the income from Membership fees.
For example: if any GOLD executive can collect 100 members including 10 gold members, he/she will get total Tk 6000.00 (Tk 5000.00 daily allowance + Tk 1000.00 incentive).
